An opportunity has arisen to work at our oak framing construction site based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. At Made in Oak we design and make traditional oak frames and structures for commercial projects, private homes and gardens.
Job type
Full-time – 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday
Permanent (subject to passing a 3-month probation period)
Qualifications
Driving Licence (essential)
Forklift licence (preferred)
Job Description
Duties include:
Collating orders for delivery
Loading & unloading vehicles
Regular stock checks and raising orders for stock
Ensuring yard is always kept clean, safe and tidy
Carry out daily inspections of equipment
Supporting workshop staff handling timber and occasional hand finishing tasks
Occasional work on local sites to assist fitters with labouring duties
Complying with all safety regulations and guidelines, with the upmost regard to our Health and Safety policy at all times.
Person must be/have
Full, clean driving licence – occasional driving duties
Forklift driving experience and licence preferred, though training can be given
Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Reliable, honest and hardworking
Eligible to work in the UK
Salary: £10-11 per hour
