We make our arches as a kit for ease of transport.
They come with full, easy to follow, assembly instructions. Made of freshly sawn oak only from sustainable sources and from local managed British woodlands wherever possible. Made in our workshop powered by 100% renewable energy. Delivery
These arches are made to order. Please allow 10-15 working days from your order for delivery but this is subject to our work schedule.
We will keep you updated on your order's progress with an estimated delivery date as we progress the build.
Delivery will be by us or specialist courier and we will give you a time slot for delivery on the day too. We do assume good access for a long wheel based van and, due to the weights involved (total weight 195kg) the driver will deliver to kerbside as they can't be asked to carry the packages great distances please!

Aftercare
The Arches arrive as a kit and we strongly recommend they are unpacked and assembled within a week of delivery. They are made with freshly sawn 'green' oak i.e. the oak is unseasoned and will move and shrink/shake as it dries. It will also leach tannin. Tannin is a tea coloured natural substance that, when wetted, will leach from the oak in the first year or so of its life. It can temporarily stain surfaces.
Subjected to UV light, oak will weather to a silver grey. Oak doesn't required any treatment, stain or paint so once installed will not need further maintenance. Oils can be applied to the surface should you want to prevent the UV light greying the wood. Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions.

Returns
If you have any questions or complaints about the goods please contact us. You can do so at info@madeinoak.com or call 01666 330182 and 01666 822234. We are under a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with this contract and in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (the Act). If you wish to exercise your legal rights to reject goods which do not conform with the Act you must either return them in person if you collected them from us, courier them back to us or allow us to collect them from you. We will pay the cost of postage.
